Shear Meadow is a community residential home providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. We encourage and enable the individuals we support to lead a full and happy life.

The home is on the outskirts of the town of Hemel Hempstead, and within walking distance of the village of Bourne End in Hertfordshire. There are pleasant walks along the Grand Union Canal and Hemel Hempstead town centre offers a good selection of local shops and amenities. For local shops and pubs, Bourne End is only a few minutes walk away. Hemel Hempstead is easily accessible by both road and rail. The residents are encouraged to be involved in the local community as much or as little as they wish to be.
