How much do Care Support Workers get paid?
Depending on the location, Care Support Workers typically earn £19,000-£22,000 when they work full-time. If you are available and meet the needs of our clients, you may be able to work more hours and earn more. With Cygnet, you will have access to a pension plan that includes contributions from you and us- helping you prepare for the future and plan ahead.
What hours are available?
Full time 40 hours per week with flexible working across a 7-day week 24 hours a day. Part time applicants welcome.
What kind of training will I receive?
Taking part in ongoing training and learning new skills is one of the most rewarding aspects of working at Cygnet. Our in-depth learning programmes taught in person by our experienced trainers will help you get started with care, even if you've never worked in care before. You'll gain confidence quickly with us, and we're always available to help. Training doesn't stop there. Instead, we'll continuously provide you with opportunities to advance and earn professional qualifications so you can achieve your goals.

Cygnet Hospital Bury provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and CAMHS provision for adolescents.

Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.
